Started out sunny and bright,
Then filled with clouds so gray.

Pestilence came our way.
Tragedy became our plight.
2020 ends today!

Loved ones passed away,
What a time of fright,
Filled with clouds so gray.

Don't get close; stay away;
Masks everywhere in sight.
2020 ends today!

Fear and anger on display
During this darkest night,
Filled with clouds so gray.

For 2021 I pray,
Give us a year sunny and bright.
