Otherwise, a conservative response much better serves us.

British tyranny toward every American colony
Required a liberal response and revolution for us.
Liberal or conservative, what should we be?

The liberals took a stand for liberty,
While British loyalists were conservatives among us.
It all depends on the situation, you see.

So, liberals gave us our democracy.
Aren’t you glad they raised such a fuss?
